"The mobile service allows job seekers to have full access to the Sportspeople Jobs Market, listing all jobs, and providing a search by location, classification or keyword. Users can view a summary list, short description or full description and email the job link to themselves or a friend for later reference.”
"The mobile service is the one of the final pieces of the website initiatives we identified back in 2006. Over this time we have launched a new-look website, Learning, Trade, Job Seeker Registration, a new e-news platform, new job categories including Volunteer, Intern/Trainee and Community Sport and our “powered” Job Boards. “
With over 150,000 visitors a month the Sportspeople Jobs Market has come a long way from the humble beginnings back in 1999. When we first launched into the market SEEK was only a newcomer and none of us could have imagined how important job boards would become in the job seeker – employer relationship. We are very proud to have helped more than 12,000 people secure employment in the past three years alone and continue to see our best years ahead.” She said.
To access the mobile site just visit www.sportspeople.com.au on your mobile browser and you'll be presented the option to navigate to the mobile site or the desktop version. And don't forget to bookmark the mobile site homepage and add the Sportspeople icon to your "Favourites".

MOST year 3 students don't look much further than the upcoming weekend but Emily Whitehead has her sights firmly set on 2016. Getting to theTop is Not a Big Stretch for Rosebud GymnastThe Rosebud gymnast will be 15 and eligible to represent Australia in the Olympic Games in Brazil. And given Emily’s outstanding results in this year’s Victorian Championships, she just might make it. The budding star, who spends 23 hours a week in training, finished runner-up in the state. “It’s nice to see her rewarded for all the hard work and sacrifices she makes,” mum Victoria said. “That’s a lot of training for a nine-year-old. She’s practising every day and to be able to spend so much time doing it she must really enjoy it.” The youngster, who says her favourite discipline is the floor, wants to qualify for her first national championship next year. Emily’s runner-up effort in June placed her in the top 50 gymnasts in Australia for the nine-13 age group. The sport dominates the Whitehead family, with Ms Whitehead and Emily’s older sister both keen gymnasts

An exciting day of semi-finals was capped off with gymnast Angela Donald winning Australia's only medal, a bronze, on day eight of the Youth Olympics in Singapore. Donald Adds to Youth Games Medal HaulAustralia now has 26 medals, five gold, 13 silver and eight bronze. In the beam final the 14-year-old Donald, Australia's youngest competitor, successfully executed a double pike dismount to increase the degree of difficulty of her routine, resulting in a final score of 14.450. "Before hand I just closed my eyes and imagined the perfect routine," Donald told AAP after picking up her medal. Gold went to Tan Sixin of China with 15.550 and the silver Italy's Carlotta Ferlito with 14.825. Other results on Sunday also saw Australians put themselves in strong contention for gold as the games enters its final few days. Queenslander Damien Hooper made a measured progression into the gold medal bout of the 75kg boxing division after defeating Hungarian Zoltan Harcsa 4-0 in three rounds. Hooper, who competes in October's Commonwealth Games in Delhi, started tentatively in the first round, which ended 0-0, but found rhythm as the bout progressed, picking up a 2-0 lead by the end of the second round and doubling it in the last. "I guess I wasn't as switched on as I should have been, as I should have beaten him by more, but I got over the line," Hooper said. West Australian boxer Brett Mather, fighting in the 60kg weight division, also qualified for a gold medal contest on Wednesday after he defeated Mexican Daniel Echeverria in a high scoring bout, 8-7. A stunning come-from-behind victory by Australia's 3-on-3 women's basketballers has also put them into the gold medal match against China. Australia upset the United States 25-23 in Sunday's semi-finals, having trailed 7-15 at half time against the Americans who had conceded just 40 points in their previous four matches. The Australian fought hard to tie it up 20-20 at the end of regular time, before dramatically snatching victory in overtime 25-23. Australian coach Kristy Flores was pleased with the performance but recognises that the games against China may need a change of strategy. "I'm going to have to sleep on it overnight, as that will be a whole different ball game," she told AAP. In the individual equestrian event, Tom McDermott is very much in the medal mix following a clear round on his mount Hugo. McDermott finished the course in 84.36 and will jump for a medal in the final round on Tuesday. In athletics, Rick Whitehead recorded a personal best time of 2:27:20 to finish second in the men's 1000m B final, while Monica Brennan finished eighth in the woman's 200m A final, in 24.83.
